Access Statement

Please find outlined below information we hope will ensure you enjoy your visit to Collaven Manor regardless of whether your life is affected in some way by a medical condition, disability, impairment, or specific learning difficulty.

Prior to your arrival

• Enquiries and reservations may be made by phone or email. Reservations may be made directly on line.

• Directions to Collaven Manor can be found on our website.

On arrival at Collaven Manor

• We have a parking area at the front of the hotel which can be reserved in advance. There is additional car parking at the rear.

• At the entrance to Collaven Manor there is a low brass weather board.

• We are more than happy to help you with your luggage and will collect it from your car and deliver it to your room if preferred.

Reception area

• Floor is carpeted

• Reception is all on one level.

Public areas

• Our corridors are well lit and carpeted.

• There is one step down into the main Lounge.

• There is one step up into the bar lounge.

Toilets

• There are two steps down to the Ladies’ toilets and one step up to the Gent’s.

• The fire alarm system is sirens and does not have flashing lights. Assistance is given if evacuation is necessary.

Breakfast Room

• There are two steps down into the Breakfast Room.

• Full waiter service.

Accommodation

•All bedrooms are located on the first floor, (ie none on the ground floor)

•Access to first floor is via a short flight of stairs. There are two additional steps to the rear rooms and east wing.

• We do not have a lift, but access to two first floor rooms, avoiding any steps, is possible via the rear fire escape and bridge. This does involve exiting the front entrance and proceeding up a slope to the rear fire entrance.

Additional Information

• Dogs are welcome in some guest bedrooms. Please inform us in advance if you wish to bring your pet to ensure an appropriate room is allocated.

• We are able to use the front doors in the event of evacuation. The alarms will ring continuously if evacuation is needed. If you require assistance for evacuating please notify us on arrival.
